Any new M$ OS should be given a wide berth until at least the first SP comes out. The main problem with Vista is it's power hungry, if you don't have top specks it's poor. I ran the trial versions and had no problems, I had the system to run it, but all the other manufacturers were playing catch up. One significant point is that MS allowed manufacturers to continue to sell new systems with XP installed even when Vista was launched, a telling point. At the moment I'm staying with XP, SP3 comes out soon but I will not rush to install, wait and see what problems occur, they are sure to appear on the site.
