The belarc method applies mainly to desktop PCs and workstations.
For laptops (in which all the components requiring a driver are fitted by the manufacturer and none of them are 'user fitted') you get the proper drivers from the laptop manufacturer since most of the components are custom-made and require custom-drivers to match.

That's why it's important to choose a well-know brand when buying a laptop. They all have decent web support where you can get the correct drivers (and very often they are the only source of correct drivers for their own models). So I hope your laptop is a well-know brand with good website support, otherwise you could be stuck.
