If it says your controller failed to start, try looking in services Start -> Run -> Services.msc and see if Windows Audio is started. If so then you might have a problem with the driver. I did a background check on my drivers, if you installed drivers on there just be sure they are the right ones. Same with the chipset too, normally its with the manufacturers website. If you can't find it i'll look into it.
