as long as your network doesn't have incredibly obsessive security, you should be able to do this:

1) click start, then run.

2) in the run text box, type cmd.exe

3) you'll se a command prompt, don't be scared.

4) type this: net user

5) hit enter

6) it'll show users and groups on your network. you want to get into "administrator". to do this, type this: net user administrator *

7) yes, include the asterisk.

8) it'll give you a prompt asking for a password. type in whatever you want, this will be your new password. it's not going to look like you're typing anything, that's normal. hit enter.

9) then it will ask you to retype it. do so, then hit enter.

10) remember what you typed, this is your new admin password. obviously you can change it if you want when you log back in.

WRONG...that only works if the user account you are logged in as has administrative privileges..GOD does anyone on this forum know what they are talking about..
