Hi, bookworm (Sound Queen). Thanks A Lot for your prompt response. Yes as you presumed I stay in India and thats where I was gifted it by my Office. I spoked with my office Hardware engineer & he restored the WinXp I loaded back to the original Win Vista that existed on my laptop (before format) using recovery dvds. Thats the reason why I guess Belarc advisor showed OS to be Win Vista in its report. Any ways WinVista restoration is my temporary adjustment (
to atleast keep my laptop in a workable condition). I desperately wanna run this laptop fully functional with Windows Xp OS. As advised by you I will install & run Everest home edition & report the system summary to you at my earliest. Once again thanks for your valuable help.
