Windows default icons
Several times a day, my desktop icons all switch to the default. Then the system thrashes for about a minute until all the icons have been restored. This usually happens when I open a new folder in Windows Explorer. It is annoying because I cannot do anything else while the icons are being restored.
I'm operating Windows XP Pro on a Sony Viao laptop.
Any suggestions?
