I carried out your instructions and i still don't have any sound. All that can be wrong now is the sound card must not be working, is that right? Does that then mean i should just buy a new computer cos the sound card is on my motherboard isn't it? Or is it possible to just get a new sound card? Am so sorry to be an idiot and a pain. I really do appreciate your help. Thank you again
