Thanks for responding, I'll check out that web site.

I may want to do some more spliting in the basement where there won't be a cable box connected to the TVs and top performance is not a great concern. Might as well use the best though.

Cablevision gave me a three way spliter to use, if I wanted to connect a TV in the room where I have my internet computer. It would replace a double that I had in a different part of the house. One of the three outputs is designed for internet. I tried it, and so far it seems to work fine. When I set it up though, I'd rather connect it with the better cables. Mostly for the computer which are probably old.

I have most of the tools already because I have played around with connecting cables in the past. Crimping tool, and some tool that makes the end of the cable adapt to the connector with the wire sticking out. I don't know if these will work with the RG6.
