A little background is that it worked at one time then while skipping ahead a song in winamp it shut down and wouldn't come back up...disk was dammaged and I replaced it with a brand new drive. Apparently my copy of xp has been used one time too many (by me) and I tried linux for a second. didn't like it but I had sound. Now I have reloaded the xp over the linux after a thorough format and it tells me no audio device. it says all my dll's are in and working but nothing is working.
