use down arrow key to go to Chipset Configuration - press Enter

down arrow key to Onboard AC'97 audio
Should be set to [Auto] if [Disabled] use the + key to change

Press F10 to Save&Exit
y to accept changes

comp will then load windows

install audio driver again

Set a System Restore Point before installing drivers just in case
Start / All Programs / Accessories / System Tools / System Restore / select Create a restore point and follow instructions
