Quite a lot of problems

Hoping I can find some help here.

On Sunday, my computer was afflicted by a trojan named HTML Troj/Agent-L. It was located in my temporary files and named 'popup[1].html'. Avast! caught it but could not move/delete it, and as a result of my computer's CPU being almost all used up, I had to restart

When I got my computer back and running I started a scan with Avast! and went using Run to the temporary files and started to delete all my temporary files

Avast! caught the same trojan while it was being deleted and it caught it in C:/RECYCLER under the name Dc339.html

Not thinking much of it, I moved it and I thought all was solved until I checked the chest and noted that Dc339.html had been modified at 5:53 PM, 3 hours after the current time when I had checked it

Lately however my computer has been having strange problems; for example, the process 'System' has started appearing even though I have never seen it before

Occasionally explorer.exe will not start and my desktop wallpaper will load but nothing else; I have to use Task manager to open up explorer. exe, and sometimes it doesn't even load then and I have to restart the computer

Run32dll.exe also always is running on my taskmanager for some reason, same with WLLproxy.exe (neither have even been seen running on my task manager before)

When I leave the computer on for long amounts of time as well, the screen glitches up and I get black artifacts all over the place; I can still click and use the computer; it's just that everything looks glitchy until I close some of the windows (and even so the cursor still stays a glitched, pixelated box)

I have run scans on both Avast! and AVG and nothing has turned up, although a thorough scan on Avast does pixelate my screen as well

I am running Microsoft Windows XP SP2

Help would be much appreciated, and I would like a way to fix this that does not include having to do a clean install
