Anyways, I just downgraded to XP from Vista and now my computer doesnt seem to detect the onboard audio at all.

Motherboard: MS-7320 (or P6N Diamond it would seem)

I have downloaded what I am quite certain are the correct drivers but it will not let me install them because it says there is 'no supported device found'. When I run Belarc Advisor it says none detected in the Multimedia section.

I have run the autoupdater for the motherboard and taken everything up to date. Is this an issue with the bios? Is there anything I can do to get my audio back, short of purchasing a soundcard?

UPDATE: I checked and the audio peripheral is indeed enabled in the bios.

here is the full Belarc profile:

Ah man that does not copy/paste well does it. Let me try to figure this out better.

you need the chipset or system drivers, the report shows the 5 series, but need to be sure. they are listed at MSI but all lumped together in one package for XP and Vista . The board can have 2 chipsets, get Everest - post the chipset or the full report - so as to be sure to get the right drivers
