Windows XP validation
Something weird happened last night, as I came to close down the comp, the little shield appeared to say Updates were ready to be installed ( no notification had appeared in the taskbar). Now this is strange, I have updates set to download but to ask before installing, so I closed without updating. So I switch on comp and check updates, it asks for Windows Genuine Validation tool, ok, no problem, now I don't know which download it was the previous night at close down but turns out to be SP3 ( KB936929) anyone else come across this ?
