'Found New Hardware Wizard' then no sound
The 'Hardware Update Wizard' has appeared out of the blue on the odd occasion in the life of my two-year old computer. This time I must have taken different steps through the dialog boxes to cancel it. It seemed to relate to the Multimedia Audio Controller. Now, I discover, I have no sound. I am unaware that I have physically removed anything.
My motherboard is listed as ASUS A8N-E - Nforce 4 PCI - Express Mainboard - PCI, and my speaker system is Creative I-Trigue 3330.
