For those of you with laptops or systems with Nvidia cards not enabled at boot run with predefined resolutions using cheat code at boot as outlined in docs on disc,640x480,800x600,until you have installed required gpg key and switched over driver then choose standard resolution on reboot,saves uninstalling everything and wasting lots of time .
Linux isn`t a noobs operating system and unless you are prepared to work a little to achieve a lot ,then don`t bother,remain in the secular world of windows and stay click and point forever.
Most issues with Linux revolve around the Nvidia install and for those who persevere Linux is its own reward.Which is why about 90% of on-line servers are actually Linux and are the longest running and most secure of web servers,some running for years before reboots.
Also why windows who started by monopolising the whole internet some years back are now working in collaboration with Linux,as in the world of computing only Linux is Agrigous and leaders in the future development of the internet and computing,truly by the people for the people-open source.( @sourceforge.net) don`t be sheep be Penguins......Its Coool.!!
