im fairly new to this so I'll just try to tell u guys what my problem is. i downloaded wow the other day and tried to play it when a dialog box popped up and said that direct 3D couldn't start and it told me to update my video drivers and direct x. i have them updated and it still wont work. when i do the diagnostics and test the direct 3d, it always stops on step 8 and says it failed at creating a 3D device.
i had wow once and played it on this computer and it worked perfectly. its only been a month and i haven't done anything to it. any ideas on how to fix it? i have been trying for 2 days now and i am getting frustrated.
