For me it is not working
(I have installed SP3 on Win XP Pro Eng)
So, i tried C media drivers exactly as it was directed.
But I got "!" on the device in Device Manger.
And then after restart it was the same.
And when I checked the properties it sayed that
"Device could not start . Error code 10"
(I donot remember exactly how it was)
So I roll back driver to Realtek WDM404
But the reason why i needed alternate driver
is that I suspect that latest driver designed for
dual core processor systems, because I got
clicks in the sound when hard drive is in use
or much resources requereing program runs.
