Annoying sound problem.
I recently put Windows Vista on my Dell Dimension 1100 Desktop [old? yeah, I know], and almost immedietly after I realised that there was no sound. There's a red cross beside the sound icon and when I hover over it, it says 'No Audio Output is installed'. I went to the Device Manager and tried to update the driver software for Multimedia Audio Controller, but it came up with nothing.
I'm not much good with computers and I really have no idea of what to do.
Any ideas?
