I am an educator, I teach computer repair, so this is baffling. I have found sites such as CNN where I want to view a video that must be streaming as I am not able to download, just play. Once I click on link, my adapter goes dead and reads "Out of Range." The only way to recover my wireless network is to reboot my router (Linksys). I have tried all kind of things such as configuring my Firewall (built-in XP), looking through the wireless router settings, settings in Windows Media Player, etc. I am totally baffled as I would like to view these videos. I think it's something to do with the router since it happens on all my computers, not just my laptop. Darn. This is frustrating. If someone has had this experience, let me know. Maybe my ISP (Cox Communications) is blocking something. I don't think so. If you have an idea, I would love to hear from you. I can be reached at
sharon.hain@gmail.com. I'm pretty desperate.
