[quote=Lysal]Hi, I posted on this site like a year ago and got some pretty good advice about a sound issue so I thought i'd come here first for advice on a sound card issue

. For awhile now I've had this loud crackling noise that comes from my speakers and my headphones.... I've tried everything to try and fix it. I've tried different slots for my sound card, different drivers, unintalling and reinstalling, I've taken things out of my computer so my sound card isn't close to anything (I placed it in the bottom pci slot so there wouldn't be any interference and its not next to anything else). So I pretty much give up if no one has a solution to this lol.
I hear its a conflict with my mobo and sound card and if that's the case I was wondering if anyone out there could give me some advice on going back to my original onboard sound so I dont have to listen to this crackling anymore

.
I tried uninstalling all of the creative and SB Audigy software and just installing my mobo sound drivers but it gave me this message (
Driver not found! Reboot your system, and run this setup again.) Here is the link to my drivers for my onboard
