I am not actually downloading anything. PBS's website allows you to find the video, then choose that you have dial-up or cable/dsl and then the video should display. Mine doesn't. It gets to the video screen and then "whoosh"--the wireless adapter shows "out of range." So I have to go reboot the router and I'm back in business. Something is playing havoc with the router I'm guessing. I investigated some solutions at www.linksys.com and found a way to check on packet fragmentation in order to set my MTU slightly below. Instead of the standard packet size of 1500, I set the the MTU to 1480. That didn't seem to help with PBS--I think it might have helped with CNN where I seem to remember having trouble. Baffling, baffling.
