No Audio Device

HI, and thanks for helping. This is the Belarc summary. I have performed the steps you described above. In the first, there is just no "Sound Playback" tab. I am stuck there. In the second, the start-up type is "automatic". Nothing to do there.

I have spent my whole life in tech support for mainframes, and this is very frustrating. I know it is not hardware, but my hands are tied.

Under system devices, for system speaker, it says "no drivers installed". But if i try and install one, it says i have the most current.
