to enter BIOS press the F2 key as soon as comp boots
BIOS Setup Programe Menu Bar is shown
use right arrow key to select Advanced Menu
down arrow key to select Peripheral Configuration - press Enter key
Peripheral Configuration Submenu opens
Audio should show [Enabled]
if [Disabled] you can use the F9 key to set Defaults, which should Enable audio - if is doesn't try the + or the PgUp key
Press F10 to Save & Exit BIOS
y key to accept changes

XP will load

if need be install audio driver again
