first of all this is the real cure:

You have to download the Drivers from here:
ftp://ftp.mustek.com.tw/pub/driver/B...0/XPDriver.EXE
And after Extracting the files...
1. connect your scanner
2. go to device manager (winkey + pause break -> Hardware Device Manager)
3. find the new hardware "USB device"
4. double click, install drivers
5. point the extracted files from XPDriver.EXE
6. done
After that you can use "Microsoft Office Document Imaging" to scan your images.
Before that test your scanner by going to Control Panel -> Scanner and Cameras, if you installed all correct Your scanner will be there.
if any problems occured, change the USB port, connect the printer to other port.
