3Dfx Voodoo Banshee driver

hey everyone

I have a slight problem...

I have a good old 3Dfx voodoo banshee card, PCI, and righ now iīm using the extremely poor standard driver for it that comes with WinXP.

you obviously think that I should just find a driver that seem to fit and install it?

Well, the reason i donīt do that is I tried it once, with the consequence that the Voodoo stoped working altogether (everything else worked, just i couldnīt see what I was doing on the desktop)
And, as a result of the drivers, or some other problem, my safe-mode wouldnīt work (!). There would be these comands scrolling down the screen as the safe mode was loading, but then it would freeze.
At that point I formated the HDD, since I couldnīt get to the "Roll back to previous driver" option (I couldnīt see where the mouse was at all)

So what I am wondering is if there is someone out there, possibly usin the same card as me, that can recommend the newest driver for the card, and a driver that works

+I live in Sweden, and I have seen all kinds of driver types (american ones, german ones, so on) out there, so I think itīs best ask here rather than installing something that renders my video card completely useless :P

right now i can only play and view things in Direct3D mode, and textures become misscoloured and weird. + the performance isnīt that great. Are there any drivers with OpenGL-support for the Voodoo?

Well, I hope there is someone out there that can help me

thanx in advance
