Hi folks, I recently reinstall my computer with windows xp sp2, I installed games such as Brothers in arms: Hell's Highway or Far Cry 2 and at a sudden point the image is not that smother and finally it freezes, if I restart the computer I get DISK BOOT FAILURE. If i shut down and let it cool off for a bit, everything returns to normal. In some games I get the ati2dvag BSOD.

I have a Core 2 Duo @ 3 Ghz, 4gb DDR 3, two Ati Radeon 3870 in crossfire mode.

I've googled the problem and have found posts from years ago, no recent ones.

I'm sure there's somebody out there who can fix this thing.
