Now that they're cheaper and have higher resolutions than they did at first, LCD is the way to go.
Having said that, the widescreen LCD I had on this com, although great for watching movies and the like, configuring some games to run with it was a pain, and the resolution was frustratingly low when it came to using it for something productive, hence I've got my old 19" CRT attached.
