Thanks for the input but I now believe the problem to be bigger than merely not playing video's and losing connection....I am pretty sure I have a virus on my computer but I have been unable to locate and isolate it.

I have run all my anti-virus programs and registry programs trying to find it but it still eludes me. The newest problem is my internet connection constantly being hijacked and the really annoying problem which completely baffles me....

I will close an internet page and for no reason the internet page will start opening new pages until it overloads my computer and I have to do an emergency shut down.

I have tried safe mode and ran all my programs...how to I find the virus before it completely invades my computer??
