the other day i plugged my guitar amp head into my sound card to do some recording and my sound card semi stopped working.the sound was still there but i had to turn up the volume all the way to be able to hear it.then i took out the sound card to replace it and now my computer wont read either the on board sound card or the pci express sound card.i have installed the drivers several times and nothing.windows xp sp2 wont recognize the card being there.i tried the system service enable audio trick but nothing.my speakers are fine.any ideas?
