Hello guys, and hello to barbara who's been helping out everyone soo much...I was wondering if you can help me too...

I reformatted my Desktop (Compaq SR1720NX) and installed a Microsoft XP SP3...everything was working properly but there was no sound. I checked the speakers' connections and if the volume was ok...and they were...
I went to device manager and noticed that it lists "multimedia audio controller" under "other devices". I tried to look for it in the Compaq website if i can download it but it didn't have any results.
