So driver, chipset and even BIOS. Whats the matter with it? I know the sound is there. I just reformatted my computer, I have not touched my motherboard.

Is this a hopeless fight? What can i do now?

need more info, make ,model or motherboard if not sure get Belarc, copy and paste the report but leave out the win update section and the Software Licence section it gives your Win Product code
http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html
