Bill, you need to completely reformat that drive. What you're seeing is a "gloat" from the hacker that created the virus, letting you know that if you re-install, the virus will nail you again. The ONLY way to rid yourself of that devil is to completely erase EVERYTHING and start over. FDISK is good for partitioning, but you need to use FORMAT.COM. It's in the DOS installation disk. That's the first thing you need to install after formatting. It re-teaches your PC to understand English and other commands. There are a lot of versions of DOS. If you need one, I have it.
