I found a solution to this problem in 10 sec after i updated software. I have hp laptop i do not know if this is going to work for all of you.
1: Go to Control Panel
2: Look for Hardware and Sound
3:Manage Audio Devices
4:Get a pair of headphone plugged in
5: Set them as Default
READY TO GO WORKED FOR ME> AFTER I UPDATED IT WOULD NOT EVEN DETECT HEADPHONE
