I don't know any technical terms so bare with me. I found this forum through google

I had a laptop that crashed, I had the hard drive removed and put into a casing to make it an external hard drive. I have TONES of photos on it.

Well, I plugged it into my computer, I go to Documents and Settings, and then Chose Luke(the administrator folder) to go to my photos, and it told me Access Denied, and the folder is empty(when I hover over it it shows empty)..
but when I check the drive, for like, how much is on it, its showing me the same amount used and not as it did when I would access it when it was still installed..


someone please tell me their is a way around this and I can get my photos back(ps I know Im stupid for not having them all backed up online and stuff... )

any help would be beyond appreciated...
