I had high hopes for this one, but alas I'm still getting the same result. I did notice something when installing the audio driver that's not mentioned in the driver installation instructions. It goes through the whole setup, then after rebooting it says it found new hardware and started the wizard to install the driver even though it did the setup before rebooting. Before continuing I checked and verified that I was still showing no audio device. I went through the wizard. It installed stuff in the windows directory as I recall, but still nothing changed even after another reboot. It caught my attention because like I mentioned last time, when I browsed for the location I had to pick the correct subfolder before the ok button became active. It seems like if that were the normal process, the instructions would have said something about it, but I don't know.
