Hi snowmonkey,

Excuse me, but I don't find this registry key, what you said. Within HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Servic es\lanmanserver\parameters key there are the following values:

autodisconnect (Dword)
CachedOpenLimit (Dword)
enableforcedlogoff (Dword)
enablesecuritysignature (Dword)
Guid (Binary)
Lmannounce (Dword)
NullSessionPipes (String)
NullSessionShares (String)
requiresecuritysignature (Dword)
Size (Dword)

The NullSessionShares value data is:
COMCFG DFS$
How do I change it from 0 to 1? Or do I create a new Dword here?

Thank you for your reply, snowmonkey. Momentarily I don't have another network card, so I couldn't try it On this machine the network works immaculately: the e-mailing with Outlook, the Internet, the access to the server, the printing, etc. excluding this damned scanning I spoke with the specialists of Umax network scanners, and they couldn't help me, they had shrug it away
