you have just posted to the world that you have downloaded a illegal copy of xp. anyway, if you were to use this, you could do a new installation, or a upgrade, unless you make the cd bootable or download the 6 floppy bootdisk set. and the only way i recommend installing xp is clean, which means formatting your drive, and then installing xp. with this copy you will not be able to install service pack 1, unless you download a crack which i hear many people complain when they download one it was a virus. and on to the main subject, what is your hardware setup, will it handel xp, as far as ram, processor, hard disk, is all of your hardware/software going to make the upgrade?
