There are plenty of good firewalls available all doing more or less the same thing. Two I personally trust the most through experience and reviews are Norton Internet Security (although I fell out with the latest version 2004 - NIS is AntoVirus, Firewall, Popup blocker and other stuff in one package), Sygate Personal Firewall and BlackICE defender.
Others that are efficient although I wouldnt rate them as good (not always in the way of effiency, but monitoring traffic, but customizability, ease of use, information etc)
