Try this:
1. From the "Tools" menu in Internet Explorer, select "Internet Options...".
2. Click on the "Security" tab in the dialog box which follows.
3. Regardless of the security level selected, click on the "Custom Level..." button. (Make a note of the original security level if you wish to set it back after performing this procedure.)
4. Ensure that the following options are set either to "Enable" or "Prompt":
(a) "Download signed ActiveX controls and plug-ins"
(b) "Download unsigned ActiveX" controls
(c) "Initialize and script ActiveX controls not marked as safe"
(d) "Run ActiveX controls and plug-ins"
(e) "Script ActiveX controls marked safe for scripting"
5. Click the "OK" button to save your new settings.
