I thought the problem was solved with the new driver, but I was wrong. I struggled all last night to keep a connection for just minutes. It was a nightmare.
So, how do you remove the modem, reinstall it, and then reinstall the new driver? I don't even know what the modem looks like. I only "use" the computer. I have no idea what the parts look like.
I just bought the computer in March, and it's still under warranty, but they won't do anything about a modem that passes every test you run on it I feel totally lost here.
I really appreciate your advice. Now I just need to know how to follow through on it.
