Pulling Out My Hair...HELP!

OK, so my uncle's computer won't load windows 98. An error pops up that says system/shlwapi.dll is corrupt please reinstall. I had no idea how to do that. So I popped in the Recovery CD that came with the computer. An A:/ prompt came up. I had no idea what to do AGAIN, I assumed it would kinda just work it's own magic. I have no idea how to work DOS. After researching, I came upon a way to delete files through DOS commands. So I went ahead, being the amatuer I am, and typed in c:/cd\windows\system
del shlwapi.dll

So figuring I deleted the corrupt file and all was dandy, I went to restart the system and now an error message saying a needed shlwapi.dll file is missing and to reinstall. ALSO, another error message pops up stating explorer.exe needs to be reinstalled.

Ok, so I went into MY OWN computer, which is also running on WIN98 and copy the shlwapi.dll file to a zip disk. I guess what I need to know now is how do I replace the shlwapi.dll file in the DOS? I have no idea what commands to type and what not and keep in mind I need to transfer that file from the zip drive. And I tried all that scanreg/restore stuff...it does nothing. Someone PA-LEEZE help...
