Video drivers are what you seem to need. Find out the maker of your video card and go to their website. Install their drivers, that should fix your problem. Do the same with your NIC card manufacture. Another thing, when you do get the NIC card working, to connect the 2 computers, make sure you are using crossover cable (typically if you buy in a store, its orange).
