You are probably getting a Fatal Error on shutdown that is causing the computer to reboot.
Right click My Computer, then Properties/Advanced Tab, and uncheck Automatically Restart under System Failure.
Get you STOP code and then go from there.
It is probably being caused by a version of Adaptec Roxio Easy CD Creator.
