External hard drives not recognised after reboot.
Hi,

I just rebooted my PC (WinXP) and now Windows will not recognise my 2 external hard drives, (USB2 connected).

I've tried looking in My Computer (right click) Manage, Disc Management, and they don't show up.

I'm a bit stumped as to what to do, can anyone help?

// EDIT:

I just unplugged one of the hard drives from my USB2 card and swapped it for the printer which was plugged into one of the standard USB ports, and the hard drive now works - it seems my USB2 card is dead, is this the most likely situation?
