system restore problem

I have just updated my windows xp home computer to xp pro. I think i may have disabled system restore when i had xp home, but now xp pro is confused, it thinks system restore is still there.

when i right click on my computer and choose 'properties', this message pops up.

------------------------
rundll32.exe - Entry Point Not Found

The procedure entry point RemoteAssistancePrepareSystemRestore could not be located in the dynamic link library WINSTA.dll
-------------------------

and i have also had problems with windows update, because it tries to create a system restore point, and because it cant it just freezes the installation.

i want to enable system restore again. does any1 know how?
