the card may not be fully seated in the motherboard slot, press to make sure it is all the way down. if you have on-board video you may want to disable it in the bios. and set the primary device to agp or pci(depends on the card you have). depending on the motherboard you have there maybe a bios update that fixes issues with radeon graphics cards or agp problems. chipset drivers may need to be updated and check the radeon site to make ssure you have the latest catalyst.
