Cannot Access Mpeg Files

Hello, I need help. I have some mpeg movies I captured and can no longer access them. Originally I created a temp folder in my H: drive and placed them in there. It was getting messy, so I created folders 1- for original mpeg, 2- edited mpegs. Soon after I created and moved the files I was no longer able to access them. Here are the programs I was using to view/edit/convert the files.

Windows Media Player 9 - when viewing those files I get this error message.
Windows Media Player cannot access the file.
0xC00D11D2: Cannot access the file

Mpeg-VCR - when opening those mpeg file I get this message
<H:\TEMP\Original Wedding Files\pablito.mpg>:cannot open to read.

MyDVD - when importing those files I get this error message
"Could not complete the following command because: Access Denied (fileErr, -16000)"

I tried other tools with no luck (TMPGEnc, Gspot).I captured some new footage and saved it to the default location (H:Temp) and was able to view/edit/convert the file using the above programs. I hope you guys can help since I have spent hoursssss capturing and editing those mpeg files. I am running Windows XP SP1 with all the latest XP/Critical updates. I have a P4 2.4 GHz, 2 hard drives with 2 partitions each C: D: G: H: drives. I believe it as something to do with the registry, from reading other post about not been able to delete mpeg files. Any suggestions would be helpful. I not familiar with registry editing/hacking. Thank you in advance for your help.
