Hi goldfish

Quote:
I read a previous thread by jerryferguson on how to neuter the forced activation process in windows xp. I have sp1 (from an sp1 install disk) and my winlogon.exe file differs from the one in the previous thread. WIth your hex editor, your supposed to find line 00039660h, and that line should read, 'EB E9 8B D1 57 33 C0 89 02 89 42 08 89 42 10 89', that line on my winlogon.exe reads different. Does anyone know of a fix for the sp1 winlogon.exe???

I know of a very good fix.

Buy a legitimate copy of XP like the rest of us did.

Good luck.........................
