Hi:

No, that's not what I'm going for. In the display properties -> settings tab you choose which monitor functions as the primary monitor. I have to set my tv as the primary because it is the only way that I can use ffdshow to do post processing with Theatertek - ffdshow won't work on the non-primary monitor. This is fine - my lcd has all the icons and start bar on it. The problem is that when you launch a program, it launches on the primary monitor. This means that I have to change the input on my tv to the comp input in order to drag the program back to the lcd and then change the tv back to watch tv.

I was hoping there was a setting in Windows that would open programs on the secondary monitor and thus solve my problem. What I have to do now is check the lcd as the primary and then if I want to watch a movie I have to switch the primary to the tv and then it will work. I just hoped there was a way to save the step every time.

Thanks,
Jeff
