I've got a major Win98 problem, and I hope someone can help me out.
A friend of mine was trying to install something on my old WIN98 computer (I do my book-keeping and e-mail on that machine. I use Mac's for all heavy tasks). It didn't workout so he said that I should install WIN98 over the 98version that was on my machine.
So I did.... during the installment setup asked if I wanted to backup my old system (luckely?! I said yes...)
The new installment went terribly wrong, and now I can't get into win anymore... kernel-error or something... I can only get into DOS PROMPT
Q: how do I restore my old system????
I hope someone can help me out, cause I'm going on a holiday on friday and I need to use that computer for some e-mail (adresses I don't know) and to update my book-keeping for VAT.
